Building For Kingdom Growth Banquet
I was blown away by the number of people that showed up. I got there at about 10 minutes to 6 thinking I was early, wrong place was already full.Had two different folks greet me to see if I wanted to sit their table, very nice as I was by myself. Program was great and non-threatening. Number of people that showed up combined with leaders combined pledges made me feel that the project was certainly doable.

-- Glenn Taylor

The atmosphere was charged with The Holy Spirit. It was like the Holidays on steroids! The warmth and caring was easily felt, and among four hundred people that is truely amazing; evidence of God's movement among his children. God is Great.

-- Rob Dobrey

I was so encouraged by the banquet (though I have to admit that I was not worried or surprised; I had a strong sense that the Lord wants to do a great thing in our church through this campaign) . . . what a great time of anticipation and celebration!! The dinner, the sharing, the worship . . . they were all wonderful. And what a great turn-out too. It is abundantly clear that God is in this project and that it is REALLY going to happen!! Sunday night was like having a countdown and then blasting off the launching pad . . . an exciting voyage has just begun! Keep your seat-belts fastened! And keep looking up!

-- James Brauer

That was a true family gathering! So nice to all be together...look forward to that possibility on our own campus.

-- LaRayne Kayfes

I left the banquet with a heart swelling with joy and love for the  Almighty One. I would call the banquet a mountain top experience for  me. If someone can have that with God, they will never want to turn  anywhere else. So what did it for me? First of all, the Almighty One  was there and the Holy Spirit abounded. People were buzzing with what  felt like genuine interest and love for one another as they chatted  over dinner. Then, there was the deep appreciation I felt for God and  his obedient people 30 years ago as they built a new church. Subsequently, the worship was powerful. Finally, and again, it was the  presence of our Great God! The lesson I learned? God can do anything  with people who are willing to give their hearts fully to Him.

GOD IS ON THE MOVE! The BFKG Banquet was a beautiful and amazing evening! Between the sweet mingling of wonderful people (new friends), engaging conversations, abundant and delicious food, honest and inspiring testimonies, lively worship and the Godly insight and wisdom spoken through our Pastor, the BFKG Banquet was a tremendous gift and blessing to us! The "behind the scenes" efforts, which seemed to be executed flawlessly, are all so appreciated and were key in making this an evening that truly honored God and His plan for His Church! The obvious result in all of the BFKG events has been a demonstrated unity of our church body and a revival in the family of Christ. Keep S-T-R-E-T-C-H-I-N-G us Lord! To God be the Glory!

Very positive experience! Enjoyed visiting with some people that I don't normally talk to.

WOW........what an experience!
What unity!
Powerful!
Sincere!
Singing--how meaningful.
Fellowship!
Meeting new people.
Reconnecting with old friends.
Organized, moved along at a good tempo;
Not too early, not too late.
Over all too soon.
Thoughts, memories still linger.
Now more prayer, action, going forth in faith.
Obedience. Excitement. Peace. Commitment.
Exciting!

Thank you, God.
Thank you, HRAC staff.

Please share with the worship team.
Each one involved made a huge difference.
Each was a piece of a beautiful puzzle.
Each was needed for completion of a great event.

This whole process has opened up my world in the HR Alliance family!!! Jim and I were privileged to chair the prayer visitor team. I got to know some members of this family better, met some new ones, all through the visits! And the banquet . . .fabulous! I met more new folks at my table and got to know folks I knew better. So fun and special! As pastor Tim said, "This project is about and for our Lord." I truly am confident that we are building for His kingdom. Whether we do this building or not, our church body is closer and doing a more effective job of reaching out and loving for Jesus because of this project. We do indeed have an awesome God!

-- Leslie Pennington

The Banquet was amazing! So exciting to see all of us together...it felt very powerful...all of us working together as one big team...doing God's work here on earth. The $950,000 raised was a real boost. It's wonderful to see what we can accomplish when we all have our hearts in the same direction. When do we break ground?!

The food was yummy...how generous for all those businesses to donate the food. I loved having communion at the table. Breaking bread together feels really wonderful and it was a good way to start the evening...focusing our hearts and minds on the reason for the banquet...doing His will.
We have an awesome church and I feel blessed to be a part of it.

-- Pat (and Bob) Sullivan

We thought the banquet was wonderful. Thank you Andy and crew for doing such a great job in making it a top notch event. The food was great and the fellowship was sweet. We were blessed to be able to participate in corporate worship and praise with so many from our body. The money was the icing on the cake.

I've often felt God's presence so powerfully I seemed to have literally stepped into the kingdom of Heaven. The unity, joy and faith of so many believers sharing one common dream for Hood River Alliance Church was evident in the conversations and excitement of the banquet. The generous pledges of our church leaders toward the building expansion is a catalyst for the personal committment of our entire church. May Christs love remain in us as this dream is fullfilled. And when we truly do step into Heaven and stand before God He sincerely will say, "WELL DONE, MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANTS".

-- Janean Markel

Yes we thought the banquet was very exciting and uplifting. We had a very nice time and it was great to be a part of that with this church. We are looking forward to everything that will be coming up in the future! It was very nice to see all of those people together in one large room and worshipin God like that it was a great evening and we will see everyone at church on Sunday. Thank you for inviting us and emailing us for our comments. We were very excited
and encouraged. Have a wonderful day! God bless,

-- Jewely and Carl Keef
