Men's Ministry

We have several groups of men that meet together for mutual support and encouragement. As men who desire to grow in their faith and become men of God, we meet together for accountability, Bible study, and prayer.

Wednesdays 7:00pm Ted Fry and John Brunk at Horizon Christian School/Shepherd of the Valley Church will lead a Men's study through 1 Peter

Thursdays 6:30-7:30am in the Fellowship Hall for a time of study led by Cory McCandliss

IRONMEN

 Men, if your spiritual life needs a little sharpening we have just the thing to help you out. There will be a time of worship, teaching small groups and prayer. The content will be relevant and you will come away blessed.

We will meet in the Fellowship Hall the 2nd Saturday of every month

Men's Small Groups
Are you involved in a Triad?  
Triads are small groups of men who gather together once a week to study the book Discipleship Essentials. This is a 24 week commitment designed to help men grow in their commitment to God and each other. Need more info contact Steve Grace @386-2812

Recovery Groups for Men

Turning a Father's Heart  (Abortion)
Have you been involved in the choice of abortion? Many times, a woman's choice to abort is greatly influenced by the father of the child. Because this choice is so contrary to men's God Given nature as "The protector", it often results in feelings of guilt, regret, and shame. "Turning a Father's Heart" is a 12 week bible study designed to walk a man through the difficult yet rewarding process of restoration. Contact Lud Tolbert at 541-308-5339 for more  information.

Pure Desire
Tuesdays at 7:00 pm in Modular #1 the "Pure Desire" recovery and accountability group meets for men struggling with pornography and inappropriate sexual activity. Join us as we discover what God has to say to us through His Word. If you need more information, please contact Paul Cater 541-399-1142.

Recovery Groups

Drug and Alcohol Recovery Group
Meets each Thursday @ 7:00pm in Modular #2. This 12 step support/recovery group uses the book Power to Choose.  For more info, contact Doug Goodman 380-0833 or Kristina Burck 354-1650.

Grief Support Group
Meets Wednesdays at 7pm. Grief can result from the loss of of a loved one, finances, relationships, health or a job. Recovery comes in stages.  For more details about this group which uses the booklet Good Grief.  Contact Lud Tolbert 541-308-5339
