  •   Bible Studies

Tuesday evenings in The Dalles ~ Tuesday evenings in The Dalles. "Knowing God by Name," an 8-week workbook study focusing on 35 Hebrew names of God that describe His character, His relationships, and His purpose. For time, location, other information, please call Linda Lorenzen, 541-298-8864.

Thursday
~ Women's bible study 9:00-11:00 a.m. Rhonda Fischer, Marsha Biddix and Connie Nagreen will begin the quarter by leading us through the book of Romans. Please note that lessons will begin at 9:00am.  Childcare will be provided for children up through 5 years of age.

Mark Johnson is leading a study through the book of Genesis during first service (9:00am)in Fellowship Hall.

Alliance Women's Area Missions Connection — Mission Mamas is hosting the Alliance Women AMC (Area Missions Connection) meeting at our church this spring. AMC will meet on Saturday, March 20, in the Fellowship Hall from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Our featured speaker will be Joyce Johns, a CMA missionary currently on sabbatical from her work in Cambodia. In addition to Joyce, one of our members will be speaking about a missions effort very close to home! Summit to Summit Adult Retreat April 23-25 at Wildhorse Canyon, Washington Family Ranch. This year the retreat is open to BOTH MEN AND WOMEN. It is an opportunity for all of us to experience the unity in Christ's churches of the Columbia River Gorge. Brochure here.

Alliance Women Ministries ~ We're the national organization of Alliance Women. We meet locally as Mission Mamas and state wide in the Fall and Spring at MALLS (Missionary And Ladies Luncheons). We are all about Missions. We offer projects to support our national and local missionaries, prayer, and fellowship.  See Mission Mamas below. Mission Mamas ~ These women love to support missions around the world with their service projects. They have a special interest in assisting our local kids in pursuing mission adventures. Mission Mamas meet the 1st Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm at Sue Gay's residence. Contact Leslie at (541)386-4030, Diana at (509)493-2277 or Sue at (541)386-3863.

Deaconess ~ Many hands make light work. The deaconesses are the hands and feet of Jesus for those in our congregation in need. They help with meals, cards, communion, funerals, and weddings to minister in Jesus' name. We would love you to share in the joy of service. Contact the church office (541)386-2812.


Compassion Ministries ~ Listening and Prayer. All women need someone to listen to them and help them work through the rough spots of life. There are women at this church who would love to listen and pray with you. Call the church office at (541)386-2812.

Celebrate Recovery ~ A Christ Centered Recovery Program, Wednesdays, 6:30-7:00pm food/fellowship, 7:00-9:00pm seminar, 9:00-10:00pm coffee/fellowship ~ A place for healing your hurts...Dealing with your hang ups...Confronting your habits. Sisters of Abortion Restored (SOAR) ~ Meets where Women who are struggling with post abortive issues such as guilt, shame and broken relationships can receive support from women who are restored. Please see Recovery & Support Ministries for more information. 

Forgiven and Set Free ~ The Columbia Gorge Pregnancy Resource Center offers a 12-week Bible study support group designed to aid you in finding freedom from post-abortive issues. Please see Recovery & Support Ministries for more information.

Good Grief the 10 Stages of Grief
